Waterfront Dining Accessed Only by Boat

Tide & Table Food Tour in Panama City Beach for travelers seeking upscale dining combined with bay cruising

Emerald Coast Food and Boat Tours operates the Tide & Table Food Tour, a guided experience where up to six guests travel by boat to three separate waterfront restaurants across the bay. Unlike dolphin-watching or island-hopping charters, this tour is designed around curated culinary stops at dining locations accessible only by water, each serving a preset menu of appetizers shared among the group.

Each stop includes small bites tailored to show off our local flavors, with beverages provided at all three restaurants, with a final stop for dessert. You are welcome to bring your own drinks aboard the boat between stops. The entire experience lasts four to five hours, combining on-water transit with seated dining at venues that highlight local seafood and regional cuisine.

Schedule a Tide & Table Food Tour to visit three waterfront restaurants in a single afternoon or evening.

How the Tour Moves Between Dining Stops

The boat departs from a bay-access point and travels to the first restaurant, where you disembark for a seated appetizer course. After the meal, you reboard and the captain navigates to the second location, repeating the process at each of the three stops. The vessel is equipped to handle six passengers with space for belongings and personal coolers.

After completing the tour, you will have sampled food from three different kitchens, each located on the water and selected for menu quality and waterfront setting, with a final stop for dessert. The format eliminates the need to drive between restaurants or coordinate reservations at multiple venues. Because the tour operates on a preset schedule, all three dining stops are confirmed in advance, and restaurant staff expect your arrival by boat.

The tour is structured to balance time on the water with time at the table, allowing you to experience bay scenery between courses without the focus shifting to fishing, swimming, or wildlife observation.

Questions About the Food Tour Experience

Guests traveling to Panama City Beach and the surrounding Emerald Coast corridor often ask about logistics, timing, and what to expect during the four- to five-hour experience.

  • What happens if someone in the group has a food allergy?

Before each tour, we make sure to ask if anyone has food allergies, and we will make as many accommodations as possible, but please note there is a preset menu based largely on seafood and shellfish.

  • How long does the tour spend at each restaurant?

Time at each dining location varies based on service pace, but the entire tour spans four to five hours including boat transit and all three seated courses.

  • Can I bring my own wine or beer on the boat?

You are welcome to bring outside drinks, and a cooler is available on board; beverages are also included at each of the three restaurant stops.

  • Where does the tour operate in relation to Panama City Beach and Destin?

All tours currently depart from JDF Marina in Panama City Beach, providing access to local and historic dining areas surrounding St. Andrews Bay, but we do hope to expand opportunities in the future.

Emerald Coast Food and Boat Tours is the only operator in the region offering a food-tour-by-boat model, combining upscale dining with bay navigation in a single trip. Request availability for your preferred date and group size to confirm your Tide & Table Food Tour reservation.
