About Emerald Coast Food and Boat Tours
A New Way to Experience Waterfront Dining Along the Emerald Coast
Emerald Coast Food and Boat Tours is curated to bring food experiences by boat to Panama City Beach and the surrounding Emerald Coast. With years of experience running a successful fishing charter business in the same region, we identified an opportunity to build something entirely different—a brand focused on culinary tourism and waterside leisure rather than traditional water sports or fishing.
The concept is built around a simple philosophy: create memorable experiences without compromise. That means every element of the tour is designed with your comfort and enjoyment in mind. Small group sizes—limited to six people per tour—ensure personalized attention and an intimate atmosphere. Partnerships with quality waterside restaurants mean each stop is a genuine dining moment where the food and setting speak for themselves.
In a region where dolphin tours and island excursions are plentiful, this is a deliberate departure. Instead of trying to offer everything, Emerald Coast Food and Boat Tours focuses on doing one thing exceptionally well: connecting you to the best waterfront dining culture the Emerald Coast has to offer while showcasing the natural beauty of the bay.

Built on Local Knowledge and a Commitment to Quality
Captain Max and our restaurant liaison and local food-y, Derek, launched Emerald Coast Food and Boat Tours from a foundation of regional expertise and a clear vision for what was missing. Max's background operating fishing charters provided deep familiarity with the waterways, seasonal conditions, and the rhythms of coastal tourism; while Derek's passion for food and quality dining experience provided the combination we seeked to create this unique food tour. That experience informed the decision to build a brand positioned around experience rather than activity—where the destination is the meal, and the journey is part of the occasion.
The Emerald Coast's warm climate and bay geography make it ideal for waterfront dining year-round, but comfort is what transforms a good idea into a great experience. That's why every tour features climate-controlled interiors, allowing you to enjoy the scenery without the heat, wind, or unpredictability that come with open-air excursions. You can dress for dinner, not for a boat ride.
The restaurant partnerships are intentional. Rather than working with any location that happens to have a dock, the focus is on curating stops that deliver quality food and atmosphere. Each venue is chosen because it contributes to the story of the Emerald Coast's waterside dining culture—whether that's fresh seafood, local flavors, or simply a setting that makes the meal memorable.

What You'll Experience on Every Tour
When you book with Emerald Coast Food and Boat Tours, you're bringing a small group—never more than six guests—which means the experience feels personal and unhurried. You'll travel comfortably with access to an air-conditioned cabin, cruise scenic waterways, and stop at carefully selected waterfront restaurants where the focus is on enjoying great food in beautiful settings. This isn't a sightseeing tour with food as an afterthought. It's a dining experience that happens to unfold by boat, designed for visitors and locals alike who want to explore the Emerald Coast's culinary side in a way that's both relaxed and refined.
